CALL TO ACTION!

Posted by Arthur Pledger On June - 21 - 2009

So youve been clicking around, you feelin the swagg…now what? When I created World Domination, I didnt intend for this site to become a magazine that you just flip through every now and then, or even a way for me to make hella money. WD was and is meant to be a club, a community of us like-minded, upwardly mobile urban hustlers who are dedicated to the Art of Hustling and breaking the poverty mindset.

This is a call to action, marching orders that will empower you to make this site your own community and ultimately empower you to conquer your world!

1. PROMOTE

  • Start by subscribing to my site . You might not go crazy over every post that I publish, but you are sure to find the majority of the material here worthy
  • TwitterNext, when you read a post that you like, send it to twitter! Jump online and let people know about it by posting the blog url
  • Social bookmarking Finally, hit up Technorati, Delicious, and/or Digg to bookmark your favorite posts

2. RECRUIT and UNITE

  • Let your peoples know about this site! Spread the word through other online communities like myspace and facebook, and post links here on your sites and profiles. I will create a button to make this easier and send out a tweet when I do.

After this site’s readership builds, I will host a contest where the “top recruiter” will win some of my money! Win money

3. CONTRIBUTE

  • Comment! Let me know what you like, what needs work, or just give some luv!
  • Advertise yourself or your site! A community doesnt consist of a single house, but many homes. This movement isnt just about me, but all of us!

This is a list of some of the most influential books in my library, and perhaps in the world. If you are serious about increasing your power lever, gaining and retaining your wealth, and mastering yourself, these are the go-to reference guides that should be in your library as well. Most these publications can be obtained for as little as $4 by clicking the links, and are REQUIRED for membership into the elite!

Off the Books
Off the Books: The Underground Economy of the Urban Poor

The Prince
describes methods that an aspiring prince can use to take the throne, or an existing prince can use to maintain his kingdom. According to Machiavelli, “Men rise from one ambition to another: first, they seek to secure themselves against attack, and then they attack others.”, and “the greatest good is a virtuous and stable state, and actions to protect the country are therefore justified even if they are cruel”. Machiavelli strongly suggests, however, that the prince must not be hated. He states, “…a wise prince should establish himself on that which is his own control and not in that of others; he must endeavor to avoid hatred, as is noted. Even though this book was written in the 16th Century, its principles can still be used today in your quest to conquer your world.

Power Money Fame Sex: A User’s Guide
is a legendary underground book that is often out of print and unavailable. IF YOU CAN FIND A COPY OF THIS BOOK FOR SALE, GET IT! Heres an exerpt:

If you’re a striver, you’ll find useful material to spur you on. You can go further than you now imagine by applying these principles. Remember, the rules don’t change, just their context. Today’s mail-office clerk is tomorrow’s mogul.

If you’re a non-striver, this guide will help you precisely because you’re not plotting your path to a corner office or penthouse apartment. You can use the guide defensively: even if you won’t use these techniques yourself, you probably don’t want them to work against you. And in any event, it’s amusing to examine strivers’ machinations.

Peaks and Valleys: Making Good And Bad Times Work For You–At Work And In Life
is by Spenser Johnson, the same author that wrote the classic Who Moved My Cheese, and tells the story of men and women on their journeys to the highest peaks in life. Its a kind of inspirational roadmap that will help you navigate your way through life’s low points and truly enjoy the high ones. This was the first book I read after being released from jail, and I owe my attitude and success today to this easy to read book.

The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About ItThe e-myth, or the entrepreneurial myth, evolved from one very fatal assumption– an assumption that unfortunately up to now many aspiring entrepreneurs still believe in. It helps you answer questions such as

1. What is your primary aim?
2. What are your strategic objectives?
3. What is your organizational strategy?
4. What is your management strategy?
5. What people strategy should you apply?
6. What is your marketing strategy?
7. What is your Systems Strategy?

Buy The E Myth Revisited, read it, then come back to the book after three months and read it again. The lessons the E Myth book contains are that important.

The 48 Laws of Power. If you’re still not up on this book, you are really missing out. THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE BOOK THAT I RECOMMEND FOR ANY TRUE HUSTLER. DONT EVEN START READING MY POSTS UNTIL YOU BUY THIS BOOK! (yea, its that important!). This is truly the hustler’s bible.

Think and Grow Rich , the “Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature”, was written early in the 20th Century, and just like Machiavelli’s The Prince, it is a timeless work. It draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of that generation to illustrate principles such as

  • “We are what we are, because of the vibrations of thought which we pick up and register, through the stimuli of our daily environment.”
  • “I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.”
  • “One of the most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat. Every person is guilty of this mistake at one time or another.”
  • “Do not wait; the time will never be “just right.” Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”

This has been the success bible of many people that have made it, and it should be in your library as well.

Outliers: The Story of Success Its subject is success — an ”outlier” is a superachiever, like Bill Gates or Diddy, and Gladwell
wants to know what sets these titans apart. It’s not mere talent, he insists, offering up instead one thrilling, exquisitely unfurled counterargument after another. This isnt so much as a how to as it is insight into the minds and methods of successful men and women.
